The NatWest International Island Games is held every two years with the host islands bidding to host the event many years ahead of time.

With the Island Games 2027 taking place from 3–9 July 2027, we’re asking all athletes who may be interested in representing Team Shetland to register their intent to compete.
This is an important first step in the selection process and helps us plan ahead for the team.
